More building on one of the town’s two campus? A new three-storey engineering building is set to be built at Lancaster University.
Plans have been lodged to Lancaster City Council for the proposed ‘Engineering Building 2’ which will accommodate teaching for chemical, mechanical and electrical engineering disciplines.
The ‘Community of Engineering’ building will replace the netball courts – situated next to the land previously occupied by the swimming pool which was demolished to construct the existing engineering building – between Farrer Avenue and Gillow Avenue.
