Family Disco inside the Little Big Top
‘Parents let go cause there’s magic in the air’
The Little Big Top will transform into a family friendly disco inspired by 1980s hip hop culture and bursting with old school hip hop classics! Pop by the tent 2 – 3.30pm on Saturday and Sunday to try a spot of breakdancing with a professional teacher and hear the sounds of local scratch legendary crew.
Walkabout Performance
Watch out for roaming street acts including quick-talking ‘Viv the Spiv’, Jean and Morag everybody’s favourite rambunctious Tea Ladies, the retro and wonderfully absurd ‘Kitsch & Sync’ and Gacko our bona-fide showman, storyteller and songwriter equipped with a two-wheeled trunk of family-friendly tales!
Face painting at The Promenade Gardens
Get transformed inside a unique vintage horse box with our face painting extraordinaires. Get creative with your requests, in this classic festival activity for the little ones. Prices vary.
Best in Show at The Midland Courtyard
Not just for the adults! Join us in a visual spectacle of timeless vintage style as we hunt for the best dressed at Morecambe’s most fashionable weekend!
Fancy a chance of being selected for the Best in Show peoples Catwalk? Make sure you don your best outfits across the weekend as our fashion savvy judges scan the seafront for the immaculately dressed.
Donkey Rides on Midland Green
First seen in the 1890s in Margate, Donkey rides are at the heart of the unique history of The Great British Seaside. Kids can take a guided ride on the green, with views of the beach and across the Bay to the Lake Districts peaks. Individually priced over the weekend.
Workshops inside the Little Big Top

Perfect for all members of the family, get involved in the best of up-cycling and retro-cool, transforming discarded materials and forgotten products into beautiful and useful things to take home.
The Vintage Fairground
Victorian styled fairground rides celebrate the beautiful British tradition and heritage of the funfair. Get involved in some family fun with rides on The Midland Green from the classic horse carousel to the hair whipping helter-skelter.
