Lancaster & Morecambe Athletics Club is organising their popular Christmas Festive Fun Run from their clubhouse on the athletics track at Salt Ayre Leisure Centre, near Lancaster (LA1 5JS) again this year. It will be on Friday December 27th at 11.00am. The Run is aimed at families and fun runners as well as more regular competitors. This year’s Remembrance Sunday falls on 10th November (2019) and a number of services have been arranged in the Lancaster district. Everyone is welcome to go along to remember all who died for their country in the two World Wars and also those who served in more recent operations in Afghanistan, Bosnia and Iraq.
