Lancaster & Morecambe Athletics Club is organising their popular Christmas Festive Fun Run from their clubhouse on the athletics track at Salt Ayre Leisure Centre, near Lancaster (LA1 5JS) again this year. It will be on Friday December 27th at 11.00am. The Run is aimed at families and fun runners as well as more regular competitors. There will be a great atmosphere and a super festive medal for all finishers and runners are very welcome to run in fancy dress. This year’s Remembrance Sunday falls on 10th November (2019) and a number of services have been arranged in the Lancaster district. Everyone is welcome to go along to remember all who died for their country in the two World Wars and also those who served in more recent operations in Afghanistan, Bosnia and Iraq. Remembrance Sunday services will take place as follows: Lancaster Garden of Remembrance, Town Hall, Lancaster starting at 10.30am, followed by a service in the Priory Church at 11.30am. Lancaster Police are growing concerned about Charles after he went missing on 31st October and hasn’t been seen since. Music lovers across North Lancashire and South Cumbria have helped fund King Sound Studio’s major relaunch. The professional recording studio, run by four Lancashire-based musicians, producers and engineers, has relocated, greatly extended its range of services and relaunched its new state-of-the-art facility in the village of Tewitfield, north Carnforth.
